10 Queer TikTok Accounts You Need to Follow

Square

TikTok has awakened many baby gays in recent years and opened up a diverse community on a new social media platform. TikTok has it all – lesbian thirst traps, lesbian TikTok drama, queer comedians, educators, and even people chronicling their parenting journey, in short, trendy videos. Here are my top fave TikTok accounts to follow. It’s an eclectic mix of the rainbow.

1 – @kendallxpayne is a comedian from Brooklyn, USA who has recently gone viral on TikTok for explaining lesbian TikTok drama in an Alice’s The Chart, L Word style breakdown. Their videos are hilarious as they are informative.

2 – @kendahllandreth is a California-based lesbian comedian. Her skits about her proud ally mum have gone TikTok viral many times over recent years, but my personal faves are her impressions of shows like Say Yes to the Dress and Wife Swap.

3 – @thebrontemarie is an Aussie influencer who has one of the most ASMR-worthy voices I’ve ever heard. She posts makeup reviews and tutorials, as well as slices of her life as a bookseller and writer – and not to mention sneak peeks from her upcoming nuptials to her longtime queer partner!

4 – @melbuttle is one of Australia’s best comedians. I was lucky enough to see her years ago at Brisbane Comedy Festival. Her TikTok series pretending to be your mum is so spot on it will make you spit your drink out.

5 – @cheethamswithdreams is a sister duo TikTok account featuring Hannah and Becky, who has cerebral palsy. Becky is queer and recently she and Hannah made a bunch of TikToks chronicling their time at a Pride festival in the UK.

6 – @genderfenderbender is an intersex advocate who uses TikTok to educate others about intersex history and experiences. They make what can be a serious topic engaging and super cute at times.

7 – @marthawubbles is a Dutch content creator and performer. Her TikToks are super sexy and sometimes cheeky too. She really blew up when the queer community found out she was dating Reign actress Adelaide Kane. The TikTok algorithm knew me well to recommend her!

8 – @rainbowhistoryclass is an Australian educational account that shares the often untold queer and trans history we didn’t learn about in school. I love these TikToks because they are so interesting because I don’t have to settle in for an hour documentary.

9 – @merrowchild is a British BookToker (aka, someone who reviews books on TikTok) who recommends a great range of wlw and sapphic books of different genres. She is perfect for any queer, tea-drinking bookworms out there (aka my partner).

10 – I had to end this list with one of my absolute favorites doing the Lord’s work out there for bloggers like me, @ariavelz. Aria reviews wlw films and has even created a wlw film database and spreadsheet to help us gays find a decent (or indecent) queer movie. Her reviews are so spot-on.

Do yourself a favor and go follow these TikTokers now, and not three weeks later when their videos pop up on Reels.
